Suffolk Heart Group is pleased to announce the accreditation of our echocardiography laboratories at both our Smithtown and Bay Shore offices . This certification has been awarded by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL). Suffolk Heart Group is also accredited by the the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Laboratories (ICANL), and Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL). As part of the accreditation process, we have undergone rigorous quality assurance and safety assessments, as well as evaluation of our computer programs assuring our patients receive the highest and latest standards available. Welcome Suffolk Heart Group, a New York-based, adult cardiology practice has offices on Long Island in Bay Shore and in Smithtown . Our state-of-the-art diagnostic centers are staffed with seven board-certified cardiologists including two interventional cardiologists and a cardiac electrophysiologist with affiliations at a multitude of area-based hospitals. We offer a full range of services, including consultation and evaluation, exercise stress testing, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, cardiac interventional procedures, electrophysiology testing and ablation procedures. Decision-making, selection, and placement of the most sophisticated pacemakers and implantable cardiac defibrillators has become a standard for our practice.
