Candles have served as a primary light source for centuries. Today, candles serve a different purpose. They provide a warm glowing focal point anytime while filling the air with their unique aroma. Sugar Shack Country Candles was founded by Cyndie Schoof and Bridget Kenley in the south central town of Edgar, Nebraska in 1994 with one goal in mind. Produce the highest quality, best fragranced, and longest burning candles available! Striving to continue this goal drives everything we do today. Prior to opening, we were disappointed in the quality of the candles that were being offered so we decided to make a candle that would "scent your entire home" and one that would last for hours without burning a hole down the middle. We spent many months and countless hours of experimentation along with testing hundreds of pounds of wax before we could finally offer the one-of-a-kind candle we dreamed about making. Are we really different at Sugar Shack Candle Company? Yes! We take pride in craftsmanship. Dedication to quality and commitment to service are traditional values we and our staff embrace each day. PRIDE IN CRAFTSMANSHIP: Every candle that we create is produced without any mechanized equipment. Each candle is poured by hand and is hand labeled and packaged. In fact, by the time your candle leaves our shop, it had been handled almost twenty times by our staff. DEDICATON TO QUALITY: We go the extra step to make each candle smell better and burn longer by selecting the highest quality fragrances and using all-cotton wicks. We also take the time to test burn each batch before it is approved for packaging. COMMITMENT TO SERVICE: Customers and service are first priority at the Sugar Shack Candle Company. Everyone who works on our products is dedicated to providing the finest service to each customer, whether they're selecting one candle or a hundred. PRODUCT LINE: When Sugar Shack began, we offered 12 different scents and a couple of candle sizes. Today, we offer you a variety of products in over 60 fragrances in a variety of sizes. We offer premium soap cakes in over 20 fragrances, and highly fragranced potpourri in over 20 scents. Our variety of car air fresheners completes our fragrance line.
