About Sullivan Moving & Storage Sullivan Moving & Storage was formally started in 1950. Prior to that, however, the founder, Lester D. Sullivan started the business as a refuse pick-up service in Toledo with only 1 truck. The moving business began quite simply when a friend asked Mr. Sullivan to assist him with an upcoming move to a new residence. It soon became common knowledge that if you needed help moving to a new home, "..call Mr. Sullivan".
