Sun Construction, Inc. was founded in June of 1998. David Nemec, President, is a Master Carpenter with 35 years experience. He started his career in commercial construction, and then discovered his calling in high-end residential remodeling, which he has enjoyed for the past 25 years. Every member of the Sun Construction team shares David’s passion for the craft, and shares his commitment to excellence in workmanship and client satisfaction. David became interested in practical renewable energy applications in the 1970’s when he first began to install residential solar hot water systems in Vermont. Ever resourceful, he has since broadened the scope to include photovoltaic (solar electricity) systems and geothermal closed-loop installation systems. Under David’s leadership and expertise, Sun Construction, Inc. has consistently coordinated successful projects and created lasting relationships with property owners of Seattle’s Queen Anne and Magnolia neighborhoods, as well as with designers, architects, sub-contractors and building departments.
