We strongly encourage everyone to be evaluated in their mid-teenage years. Studies have shown that early evaluation and treatment yields better results for the patient. At Sudbrink Oral Surgery we provide a complete oral examination and x-rays to determine the position of the wisdom teeth and predict if there may be present or future problems.

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Dr. Vakkas completed his Doctorate of Medicine and Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the prestigious Columbia University in New York, NY. In addition to his residency work at Columbia University, Dr. Vakkas has participated in humanitarian programs such as "Healing the Children" in Neiva, Columbia where he provided Cleft Lip and Palate surgical care and "Healthcare International" in May Pen, Jamaica providing dental services to the underprivileged. Dr.

Thanks to modern medical advances we're able to perform most surgical procedures in our office. To make your visit as comfortable as possible, we provide safe, effective outpatient anesthesia to reduce or eliminate any pain or anxiety that may be related to your treatment. The type of anesthesia required for any procedure depends on the specific needs and/or preferences of the patient.
