Sundown Designs ® began years ago by exclusively designing and installing professional Architectural and Landscape Lighting Solutions. Our company grew quickly by providing uncompromised quality and attention to our clients' needs and desires. Sundown Designs ® rapidly became recognized as one of the premier design and installation companies in the United States. The demand for our consulting and designs grew into a national reputation for excellence. Sundown Designs ® began with the desire to bring the same world-class lighting artistry to our clients' homes as beautiful resorts had been doing for years. At Sundown Designs ® our growth happened to coincide with growing concerns over negative changes in the Low Voltage Lighting Industry. The quality control, nonspecific or misleading marketing efforts, and safety issues amongst some manufactures of Low Voltage Lighting were quickly becoming an issue. Due to their apparent increased competitive pressures, financial concerns and a general lack of caring for the needs of installers, designers, and their distribution, some manufacturers amongst other things were producing components of substandard quality. We realized at Sundown Designs ® that soon we would not be able to design and install the quality lighting systems that our clients expected from us because of these negative business practices on the part of some manufactures. We communicated and met with certain manufacturers and after several attempts and broken promises on the manufactures part we realized that our concerns were not and would not be addressed. In time we also began to fully understand the fact that they were failing the Low Voltage Lighting Industry as a whole. Some Manufacturers were and still are desperately out of touch with the needs and concerns of Distributors, Designers and Installers. Instead of producing high quality innovative equipment, much of the industry was sliding into an abyss of low quality, uninspired, outdated equipment designs while at the same time professing to care about the professional and the end user. Because of these and other reasons we knew that manufacturers were not going to solve the problem and work towards a viable solution that would protect the future and integrity of Sundown Designs ®. That's when we founded a company to produce innovative, state of the art lighting fixtures and transformers of extremely high quality for the Professional Designer - Installer who understands the opportunity of installing and maintaining the best in Low Voltage Architectural & Landscape Lighting. Drawing on extensive design and installation experience we have produced the best transformer and the only Energy Control System ™ in the industry. Our Convertible Series™ of path lights are unsurpassed in aesthetic beauty, versatility and value. The quality and ingenuity of our brass and copper line is without peer.
