We are also active in the Street Rod sport, as members of the local clubs for over 33 years. Presently with the Jefferson State Street Rods for 25 years (from the beginning), NSRA for 32 years (now a lifetime member), Goodguys and also members of SEMA.

Thanks to all of our friends and loyal customers who have helped to make our business grow and prosper for the past 30 years. “1976 to 2006” Also thanks to all the Companies who we have built a strong relationship with, that build fine products and allow us to represent them. We have tried to select the best Companies with the best support for our customers. Street Rodders are the best people, our customers become our friends, and some are the best friends we could possibly have.

In 1976, after several years doing custom body & paint and Hot Rod building as a hobby, Steve decided to quit his job as a body shop foreman at a local Dodge dealership to go full time starting his business “SUNRISE COLOR.” Steve began to develop parts availability for his customers. For the next 27 years we built ground up Hot Rods & Customs for our customers while supplying parts and guidance for our growing customer base. Then in 2004 it became apparent that we couldn’t do both, build cars and keep up with the growing parts business. So we have quit taking on customer work and turned to a full time parts business. We are currently W.D. dealers for around 70 companies; see our list of companies on our product page . We have used, installed and serviced the parts we sell, so we can help with all those decisions that need to be made while building a Hot Rod or Custom. Our advice and help is free. We want to sell you the correct parts the first time around and do not want to sell you any parts you do not need. Unless you want them!!! We try to sell all of our parts at the best possible prices and stand behind them.
