Dr. Francis Rienzo Medical Director Dr. Rienzo has been in private practice in internal medicine for over 20 years and has been involved in the field of addiction medicine since the early 90's. He is the co-founder and Medical Director of Jersey Shore Daytox , Medical Director of Discovery Institute for Addictive Disorders , Clinic physician for Jersey Shore Addiction Services. We believe in creating a different experience here at Sunrise Detox. Our road to recovery is dignified. There are no locked doors and although the process is a medical detox , the accommodations feel more like home than a cold, antiseptic hospital. Clients reside in comfortable modern, elegantly furnished rooms with plenty of space for personal belongings. Individuals are not required to wear uncomfortable hospital gowns and during the detox process and have easy access to in-house laundry facilities. Good nutrition is also an essential part of the detoxification process.

At Sunrise Detox, we believe medication and comfort equal the perfect detox. A personalized program with medication as needed, is designed to meet each guest's individual needs. We provide " detox with dignity " in a safe, comfortable atmosphere.

Jean Bronock-Zaccone Director of Nursing Jean has over 30 years of experience in Behavioral Health from staff nursing through the executive level. She began working in the field of addictions while in Europe and employed by the US Army. She has also served as a Vice President of nursing within a four hospital system, ensuring that all regulatory requirements were met including those for the Joint Commission.
