We have been absolutely thrilled with the progress our son Harry has made working with Vanessa (occupational therapist). When she began working with Harry he was not interested in working with her and often ran away. Now he runs to her and loves their sessions. But most importantly, he has made wonderful progress thanks to her dedication and caring. Harry has improved markedly in eye contact, imitative play and following directions. He makes focused attempts at imitative speech and overall is more engaged in his activities, as a result of Vanessa’s great work. Someday, he might even touch a bowl of rice… HJ Kare Jr.

Our mission is to provide high quality, specialized intervention to special children in the Delaware Valley and surrounding areas.

TJ has also created Sunshine Therapy Club II, Inc., another pediatric agency dedicated to providing early intervention services to children and families in Philadelphia County. In total, since inception, Sunshine Therapy Club I and II have provided services to more than 3000 children and families. TJ has begun facilitating workshops and training seminars for parents and professionals in her field.

We are all about kids and families! Physical, occupational and speech therapy services can be fun and exciting! We also provide other early intervention services, including special instruction, nutrition, social work and nursing. We practice using a multi-sensory approach in the treatment of developmental, sensory-motor, neuromuscular, and a variety of other pediatric disabilities. After an initial consultation, our therapists will develop an individualized program, designed to meet the specific needs of each child. We also have a special team of professionals who work with families and children to provide ASD Related Services (Autism Spectrum Disorder) including parent support and focus groups.

We offer flexible scheduling and work closely with families, teachers, caregivers, nurses, and other professionals to promote more comprehensive intervention. Daytime, evening, and Saturday appointments are available as we provide city wide services in Philadelphia and several areas in the surrounding counties.
