The QUBE 8-ball bearing is patterned after the Fafnir bearing of the late 70s, using our 3D technology we have re-created this bearing for today’s market using modern day technology. This bearing contains 8 balls instead of the traditional 7 which has many advantages. The additional ball allows the load to be spread out evenly over the entire bearing instead of just one or two points. The additional ball also gives the bearing greater lateral load capabilities while turning, an important aspect of quad skating that many overlook. Lateral load is the force created while turning; it’s the momentum that wants to push you off the track. Using an 8-ball bearing will help distribute the load evenly over the entire bearing, in essence making a stronger bearing laterally. Combined with a deeper groove this gives you the ability to skate into turns harder with no worry of bearing blow out. Scott has been working hard to make this rink as great as it has become and has even ventured into online skate sale, including a full line of Sure Grip products. The one great feature of Alvin Skate Party that I latched onto was the simple dog they had painted in the center of the floor. This pooch is their mascot and having him simply in the middle really brands their product.

The Super Deluxe offers outstanding stability because most of the skating action is on the cushion system. Standard 10 degree double action is one of the most stable plates on the market today, Put it on its edge and it stays there. The Snyder Super Deluxe is the skate that is known as the standard of the skilled skater. Dropped forged aluminum, spring steel, or 7075 aluminum are offered as a plate option, forged aluminum trucks and hangers for superior strength and light weight, steel axles and steel connecting parts are standard but aluminum or titanium parts are optional, rubber cushions for enhanced feel and feedback, and adjustable pivot pins for complete control. We have 3 different models in the Super Deluxe line: standard, figure, and dance; each designed with a specific purpose and each with different qualities. Snyder plates are also offered in a lite form; reduction of weight is key for beginner skaters or adult skaters looking for a weight advantage.
