Description

I have been using The Survey Group for more than ten years. I first began using TSG while working in healthcare and participated in both the annual surveys as well as engaged in custom surveys as needed. Now that I am working for a university, we have engaged TSG to help us in a comprehensive compensation study which will include the design and implementation of grades and ranges for all of our professional positions. The consultants I have been working with are all responsive and knowledgeable.

With over 20 years of experience in compensation and human resources, Erin has a strong background in building pay structures, market analysis, job evaluation, FLSA and wage laws, and compensation policy development. Her track record working in the industry is equally impressive, boasting compensation-related positions at New England Baptist Hospital, Jordan's Furniture and Sovereign Bank, along with a variety of human resources positions at Harvard University, Marcam Corp., BankBoston and Fleet.

The Survey Group is excited to publish this web site ("Web site") to inform the public about our company and to provide our customers with services and information in a convenient and timely way. Your use of this site is governed by the Web site's "Terms and Conditions," which may be found here .

We have been a member of TSG for over 15 years and their services have been an invaluable resource to us ever since. Whether we are obtaining data from their surveys, calling the hotline for information about a specific job, requesting general advice from their consultants, or visiting their library, TSG gives us access to all the information we need to ensure that our benefits and compensation programs remain competitive.

The FLSA, enacted in 1938, provides standards for minimum wage and overtime pay. Despite the fact that it has been around for over 70 years, the FLSA tends to be the labor law that is most often violated by employers. Even minor mistakes or misinterpretation of the FLSA can lead to major problems for an organization, including penalties, litigation, and costly fines. This seminar will help HR professionals understand and avoid the most common FLSA mistakes so they can stay compliant and avoid litigation.
