A third generation family run farm . . . 20 minutes SW of Madison, Wisconsin Sutter's Ridge Pre-Picked Produce With each season there is a "home grown" reason to visit Sutter's Ridge Farm. We are committed to producing the freshest highest quality local grown produce. In the spring, there is tender fresh picked asparagus. We pick the asparagus daily from our fields and stock in our self serve refrigerator in one pound bundles for your convienence. Summer brings fresh berries starting with strawberries. Strawberry season usually starts around June 10th and runs about 20 days depending on the weather. Always call to check on season start dates as they vary each year by the weather(608)832-6445. We only grow pre-picked strawberries. We believe flavor is the number one reason to buy local grown berries. Our strawberries are picked every day at peak ripeness and the varieties we grow are chosen for flavor. Our strawberry season pick-up hours are weekdays from 10am-noon and from 4:30pm-6:30pm and Sat & Sun from 10am-3pm. Demand for our quality pre-picked strawberries has risen over the years and we strongly recommend placing an order to guarrantee availability at (608)832-6445. What better way to start your summer than with that full juicey old fashion flavor of local grown strawberries. There truely is nothing to compare to the "real thing". Pre-picked raspberries are usually available mid-August. They are picked everyday from our patch and stocked for your convienence in pint containers in our self serve refrigerator. The month of September is main season for raspberries and starting labor Day weekend we are also open for U-pick raspberries. Check the U-Pick page for more information. Through October, our farm stand is open every Fri, Sat & Sunday from 10am-5pm with our pre-picked apples and Pumpkins along with our farm preserves.
