Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP was founded in 1992 by a group of trial lawyers who left a large Chicago firm to better serve the needs of their clients. The firm is dedicated to resolving contested matters—by trial, if necessary.

At Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, Ms. Wahl focuses her practice on Asbestos Litigation and Toxic Tort Litigation. She also has experience in Intellectual Property Litigation and Transactional Services, including working with clients in the entertainment industry. Ms. Wahl is a member of Lawyers for the Creative Arts, American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Women's Bar Association of Illinois, Chicago Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association and Indianapolis Bar Association.

Environmental Law Former environmental regulators and a former environmental prosecutor combined more than 40 years of experience in environmental matters to found Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP’s full-service environmental practice. Since the practice’s inception, firm attorneys have gained extensive experience litigating in federal and state courts and appearing before the Illinois Pollution Control Board. This experience has resulted in Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP’s proven track record of resolving a wide variety of land, air and water pollution matters.

Our intellectual property group offers a full spectrum of superior litigation, prosecution and transactional assistance in a wide range of areas, including trademarks, copyrights, patents and trade secrets.
