Biography / Mission Statement Hi, my name is Terrence Sweeney and welcome to my website. I have been photographing Montana for many years. What once started out as a hobby, slowly evolved into a passion. My goal is to share my passion with you through my images, prints and posters. My road warrior and mascot Kodachrome 'Koda' Sweeney, seen above, rides shotgun and handles security. These quotes got me through some very frustrating days and helped keep my focus on my long term goals. I hope to travel and photograph throughout the world and create memorable images. Perhaps, along the way I can help others see things that they never have, or maybe just in a different light. I also hope to help create more awareness of how beautiful our planet can be, as well as how delicate the balance is to maintain that beauty. Conservation of National Parks, wildlife, open spaces, and increasing awareness of negative environmental issues that impact our planet are at the core of that delicate balance. I take the utmost pride in making sure you will enjoy your purchase for years and years. I only use the top archival and fade resistant products available on the market in insure that. Live in the present, Learn from the past, and Plan for the future. Plan a year ahead at a time. Be at the right place at the right season if you can. Double and triple check your equipment before leaving on an important shoot. Bring extra film, memory cards and batteries. Keep a few energy bars and vitamin packs in your camera bag. Drink Water and Green Tea. Don't be afraid to experiment. Change up your speeds and your stops. Take a few extra shots. Sometimes your best effort is the last one you try. Climb to the extra draw. They suggest to take the road less traveled and to be truthful with your work, your friends and your life. I agree. If you choose, photography can provide you a life less ordinary and one of fulfillment. Surround yourself with good people. Keep moving forward and keep shooting. You can't change the bad shots you make, just like you can't change the things that happen in your life, only the way you react to them. You learn from your mistakes, refocus and take your next shot. Just as you can change the world with one kind act at a time, you can benefit the world with one great photo at a time.
