We founded Symbio with a simple goal: To make IT a productivity multiplier for our customers by providing peerless customer service, hosted physical systems and decades of wisdom and experience in providing IT solutions to small and medium businesses.

We take a holistic approach to our customers’ IT needs, focusing on minimizing on-site equipment and complexity. In fact, many of our customers don’t even have desktop computers in their offices.

A native of Ireland, Bryan began his journey in the corporate IT world at the famous Guinness Brewery in Dublin almost 30 years ago. Developing a keen understanding of business culture and a greater sense of how to adapt technology to meet business needs, Bryan took his skills to the United Kingdom where he worked on the development team at the BBC World Service in London, and later at Christie’s Auctioneers. After moving to the United States in 1992, he joined the IT management team at Science Applications International Corporation in San Francisco, before starting his consulting career at Fog City Networks (later Aethion Systems) where he met Julian Sutter. In 2002 he started JSi Networks, a provider of IT services in the San Francisco Bay Area, and in 2011 merged with SymbioSystems.
