The business has grown with locations now in Fargo ND and Rapid City SD. The company provides a full line of tile products, setting materials, and both the Sioux Falls and Fargo locations fabricate and install natural and engineered stone countertop materials. Syverson Tile & Stone is wholesale to the trade servicing retail dealer stores and contractors in all three locations. Syverson showrooms are open to the general public to view available products. All locations have both displays and installation ideas with tile products installed on showroom floors and walls.

Syverson Tile & Stone was founded in 1932 by Ray G. Syverson Sr. and Ruth Syverson in Sioux Falls, SD. Ray Sr. was a tile installer by trade who decided to form his crew to keep up with demand. His wife Ruth had an accounting and management background. Both were known for their tremendous work ethic and high quality standards. Together they built the business into the largest tile contractor between Minneapolis and Omaha by the 1950s.
