She earned her B.A. ('04) and M.A. ('06) at the University of Denver working with renowned GPR scholar and archaeologist Dr. Lawrence Conyers . Her master's thesis, titled Colonial Encounters at El Brujo, Peru: Studying a 16th Century Spanish Church and Town Using Ground-Penetrating Radar, studied the ways in which digital mapping using a total station and GPR can be combined with historic records to show how a town in early colonial Peru was used and modified. Jennie has over seven years of experience using GPR in archaeology, construction, geology, and historic preservation, in sites around the world. She also participates in GPR teaching, training, and demonstrations.
