TDC Learning Centers, Inc. was incorporated in 1963 and began providing child care services to the community. We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Community support allows a sliding fee schedule for families of low to moderate income, so that our programs can be affordable for all families. We seek grants to accomplish special projects. We presently operate two full-day child learning centers, one parent-child learning center, and one employer-sponsored child care center. All of our child care programs are state licensed.

She has bachelor of Health Science degree from the University of Missouri with continuing education in Accounting. She has worked in the accounting industry for over 15 years and has been employed with TDC since May,2007. Her interests are painting, horses, swimming, biking, reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Kristi has her BS Degree in Child Development and has over 19 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Kristi lives in Topeka with her 2 girls.

Christen Brown joined LELC as director in August 2013. She has a BAS degree in Human Services, as well as coursework in Early Childhood Education. Christen has worked with children and families in many different capacities over the past 15 years.

Tawny Shell-Navarro has served as the Director of TDC's Adventures In Early Learning Center since 2008. She has a BS in Organizational Leadership and Management from Friends University. She has over 25 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys watching the joy children exhibit when they discover new things. Listening to them describe their world keeps her sense of wonder alive.
