The Rocky Mountain Cichlid Association has been serving the cichlid hobbyist community in Denver for over 25 years. The club was honored to host the ACA convention in 2004. The RMCA meets September through June on the second Sunday of the month at the Englewood Recreation Center, 1155 W. Oxford Ave., 1/2 mile south of Hampden and one block east of Santa Fe Avenue. Meetings start at 6p.m. Club activities also include a summer picnic and a holiday party. The club has monthly speakers, presentations and auctions twice a year, and a monthly newsletter.
Founded in 1957, the Green Water Aquarist society meets the first Friday from January-June, August-November. Meetings include a speaker, raffle, and mini-auction. Auctions are in January and October. Seller check-In begins at 8 a.m. and the auction begins at 11 a.m. Pre-registration can be done through our website. There is food, a raffle, a kids-only auction, free kids activities, and free parking. Swaps are in March. Tables cost $25.00 for non-members, and $20.00 for members.
