TIMCO began operations in November of 1990 in Greensboro, North Carolina as a dedicated, state-of-the-art aircraft heavy maintenance facility. The company subsequently joined forces with the former Aero Corp aircraft heavy maintenance facilities located in Lake City, Florida and Macon, Georgia and became a regional industry powerhouse. The company continued its steady growth by adding a Pratt & Whitney JT8D engine shop in Oscoda, Michigan, an OEM seat manufacturer called Brice Manufacturing in Pacoima, California, and by acquisition of an additional aircraft heavy maintenance facility in Goodyear, Arizona.Today TIMCO is the largest independent third-party MRO provider in the United States. In addition to airframe heavy maintenance, the company provides engine component and flight control repair and overhaul services, as well as unparalleled engineering expertise. Most recently, TIMCO began offering its customers scheduled line maintenance services.With nearly 4000 employees providing aviation services at sites located across the US, TIMCO offers its customers industry-leading quality, customer focus and value.
