TSMT has a proud heritage, dating back to 1931, as of one of the nation’s leading transporters of specialized cargo. From the safe hauling of explosives, radioactive freight and hazardous materials to the secure transport of oversized or excessively heavy machinery and equipment, customers have relied on TSMT’s unique experience and expertise for over 80 years now.

TSMT became an employee-owned company in 2005 through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and our commitment to excellence has never faltered. Our goal is nothing less than TOTAL CUSTOMER SATISFACTION and our mission is to pursue the highest level of quality in every aspect of the transportation process.

TSMT was founded in 1929 by Cloyd B. Jeans and Denver Merrick. The company's original team began transporting explosives to powder mills located throughout the Southwest Missouri region in support of zinc and lead mining which was prominent at that time.
