Laura Moore Cunningham was the daughter of C.W. and Catherine Minear Moore, Idaho pioneers in the mining and banking businesses. She was born and raised in Boise where her father chartered the second national bank west of the Mississippi River, The Idaho First National Bank. Mrs. Cunningham was dedicated to her community, serving as a director of the Children's Home Society for over thirty years, active in the Boise Red Cross, and strongly supporting then Boise Junior College.

The TVCC Foundation was established in 1962 to provide opportunities for students to pursue their educational goals, and to strengthen and expand the academic programs and services offered by Treasure Valley Community College. The Foundation is a private, tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. We are managed by a volunteer Board of Directors which represents area businesses, alumni and friends of the college throughout the Western Treasure Valley.
