Stryker is known for providing cutting edge solutions in its advanced operating theater equipment. Everything is mounted from the ceiling by hydraulically assisted arms to hold monitoring devices, operating tools, and other peripherals. Instead of worrying about tripping on cords and traditional floored obstructions, the doctor can focus on the most important thing in the room: the patient. With this in mind, TXS industrial design was tasked to provide an ergonomic solution for controlling the ceiling mounted arms.

Using knowledge gained from our in-depth experience with transportation and airline seating products, TXS Industrial Design has applied this to the field of energy. Working with NOV Hydrarig, we helped develop the interior of their control module for the line feed used in Hydraulic Fracturing. The interior had to cater to long-term comfort of occupants, but also allow them to have full view and control of the line feed when extracting natural gas from the ground.
