Tailored Masonry of California has been family owned and operated since 1980. Brothers Angelo and Bennie Cassara after working within the masonry industry in both Illinois and California for many years educated their sons in the masonry trade. As both fathers worked side-by-side with their sons the time came for Angelo and Bennie to hand the reins of a thriving business to sons Mike and Dan in the early 1990's. Mike and Dan, already proficient in the 'hands on" fieldwork involved in running a profitable business, did a 180-degree turn and were now behind the scenes estimating and managing daily operation of a business during a booming construction market. Mike and Dan, along with their fathers, saw the opportunity of expansion when they bought the rights to design and manufacture a line of precast masonry products. The second generation Cassara's took advantage and Dan is currently managing partner of Tailored Masonry of California's sister company, Edinger Materials . Both Tailored Masonry of California and Edinger Materials now work side-by-side to provide customers with a variety of construction options. Throughout the years the company has remained a family affair. Angelo, though now semi-retired keeps a watchful eye on the next generation. Mike has brought his son Nick into the business to expand and conquer the future of the home building one brick at a time. Tailored Masonry of California under the direction of the Cassara family is proud of the many accomplishments achieved over 50 years within the masonry industry. As members of the Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIA) and California Conference of Mason Contractor Associations, Incorporated (CCMCA) and its involvement in charitable work for Orange County Home-Aid the true reward is the ability to work with people who make this job enjoyable...friends and family.
