We pride ourselves on having wrenches as old as our company that are still in service today. We continue to provide parts and service for products that are normally obsolete. For thirty years TAME, Inc. has built a reputation of a company that stands behind it's products...and we continue to build on that reputation into the future.

TAME, Inc. was formed in the late sixties as a vision to improve upon labor and safety concerns in the locomotive industry. Our products were developed in conjunction with SR maintenance personnel. From our inception our wrenches have been fully automated, requiring minimal intervention by the operator. Due to the popularity of our wrenches, demand grew to include a national as well as international market. Our wrenches are sold not only direct from the company but also in the catalogs on major diesel engine manufacturers.

From this start TAME evolved to supply equipment to many industries utilizing EMD and GE Diesel Engines including power plants, off-shore drilling rigs, stationary generators as well as a fully developed product line for the locomotive industry. Our reputation as a provider to these industries led to requests to develop products for component parts to repair assemblies.
