Taranis engineers have experience encompassing a wide range of industry standard automation platforms. Our knowledge allows us to review each application and help the customer select the solution that best fits their requirements. Manufacturers whose products we regularly use include Allen-Bradley, GE Fanuc, GE Energy, Modicon, and Siemens. Seamless integration of hardware from various manufacturers into a single system is no problem. We ’ve applied many standard communication networks in our systems, such as ControlNet, DeviceNet, DLAN, EGD, ISBus, Modbus, Profibus, and Reflective Memory. We understand that in every industrial facility, reliable production is of the utmost importance. So are smooth start-ups. That ’s why each system that we develop is thoroughly tested before it is shipped to the customer. In many cases, we also work with the customer to develop a plan for installing their new system in parallel with an existing system to allow for a “shadowing ” period, during which the new system can be tested online without interfering with production. In addition, we also strive to make sure that each system we supply is cleanly designed, well documented, and easy to troubleshoot and maintain.
