Taylor, Sr. in 1927 in the red hills of east central Mississippi.When "Alec" Taylor established the machining and repair shop that would become Taylor Machine Works, he hung a sign advising customers, "We engineer and build what you need." This commitment to each customer to meet his specific needs remains at the core of the Taylor Group of companies. The founder's personal belief in three key by-words, FAITH - VISION - WORK, remains at the heart of business operations of the organization he established.Today, Taylor Machine Works remains as the focal point of the entire Taylor Group that also includes Sudden Service, Inc., Taylor Power Systems, and Taylor Leasing. The worldwide operations of the organization continue to be based in Louisville, Mississippi, where W.A. Taylor, Sr. established the company.
