Description
Taylormade Racing products are all the creation of two major design talents; engineering director Paul Taylor, who has a long history of creating winning race bikes with leading edge technology – and design supremo John Keogh, the international motorcycle stylist who has worked extensively with major manufacturers such as Triumph and most recently Buell, on the XB9Firebolt. Taylormade People Paul Taylor Engineering Director and company owner Paul Taylor is English and has lived and worked in California for several years. His background is in bike racing technology and he has worked with several manufacturers, and with private teams developing winning racebikes using cutting edge technology. His Saxon-framed Triumph Speed Triple was second to the all-conquering Britten twin in an epic Daytona Speed Week Battle of the Twins race and featured Paralever-style suspension subsequently developed by BMW, Front centre air induction (used on the later Honda SP1) and a rear-mounted radiator. Taylormade Racing first became known for its carbon-fibre components developed on race bikes using F1 technology and manufacturing processes. Paul produced his first carbon fibre mufflers for 2001 GSXRs under the Motapsycho brand. Email: paul.taylor@racetaylormade.com John Keogh Another Brit.
