Sharon is a people person. She enjoys people, working with them, helping them and teaching them. She taught computer classes to Willard School’s children, guiding them and helping them to develop and further computer skills. She worked with the offices of the Church of the Brethren in Elgin, giving technical support and guidance. In the past few years, Sharon worked with the volunteers at Provena Saint Joseph Hospital‘s Auxiliary. She worked diligently with the volunteers in all avenues, including events, fundraisers and membership.
