The Visual Parts Database, or VPD, is a unique service in which a parts database is created of your company's manufactured product(s) based on photographic images and associated documents. It will provide unsurpassed technical support for your service engineers as well as your customers, and is distributed on either CD-ROM or via the Internet. The VPD will assist the user in identifying replacement parts by offering photographic images of the parts, and then supports the ordering process by using the integrated parts ordering system.

Our client requested that we develop a multi-system Visual Parts Database for three of their company's tools to assist their field service engineers. With a fully integrated interface for all 3 systems, their engineers could search through all 3 tools simultaneously or any one tool individually in order to identify the desired replacement parts. The finished CD-ROM contained over 1,400 part images and included a separate PDF document section with it's own custom installation routine.
