Description

Crane & Hoist Inspection Our Customer Service Department will develop a customized inspection schedule for your hoisting equipment based upon hours of use and the capacity of the crane/hoist per CSA Standard B167-08. There is no need for you to remember your inspection schedule; we make it hassle-free by notifying you two months prior to the inspection due date. Our Scheduling Department will book the inspection around your production schedule and when it’s convenient for you. Our inspection procedure was developed by our Technical Services Manager, a Millwright with over 25 years experience and our Professional Engineer. We follow the requirements of both CSA B167-08 and ANSI B30.16. You can depend on us to keep your staff safe and in compliance with the Ministry of Labour. In addition to inspecting your cranes and hoists, we also offer a custom operator training program tailored to your equipment and lifting applications. Our on-site training also includes a custom manual and training certificate for each of your employees. Below the Hook Section 51 of Regulation 851 defines a lifting device as “a device that is used to raise or lower any material or object and includes its rails and other supports …”. Technical Loadarm has the ability to inspect all lifting equipment so we don’t stop at your hoist. We include the additional equipment used to lift, including attachments and slings. We have the ability to inspect one of a kind pieces unique to your operation. Our Engineer and Millwright will provide an inspection process for those pieces to satisfy the requirements of the Ministry of Labour and keep your staff working safely! Our Technical Team is vigilant in looking for cracks and defects of your below the hook equipment with Magnetic Particle Inspection. Don’t your rigging accessories deserve the same level of inspection as your cranes and hoists? Lift Truck Inspection We provide an unbiased inspection of your lift trucks. We do not perform repairs or sell replacement parts so you can be sure we are reporting the actual condition of your trucks. Each truck receives a certificate of compliance highlighting any deficiencies, including any cracks found utilizing magnetic particle inspection. Our technician will thoroughly explain any deficiencies and answer any questions. Our testing procedures meet or exceed the standards of OHSA, CSA, ANSI, and Industrial Truck association. Our inspections are performed in accordance with the Guidelines for the Safe Operation of Powered Lift Trucks, which our President was invited to contribute his knowledge to the development of these guidelines.
