If you want a pile of paper to give to your management to make security look like an overwhelming underfunded task, you have come to the wrong place. We believe in helping you take action and enhance your security posture, and not just checking a box like an auditor would. We conduct a thorough survey of your corporate network, partner networks, public networks, and other custom connections (e.g. SCADA) to ensure we fully understand the scope of your security exposure. A security posture cannot be examined in a vacuum, it must be looked at holistically if you want to understand where you currently are and where you need to focus your efforts to improve your security posture. We have performed assessments for a variety of clients, to include: Governments, utility companies, banks, law firms, and information technology companies. Automated tools are akin to using robots to find problems, they can only find what they are programmed to know about, therefore we don’t rely on them. A hacker is not going to look at your network with an automated assessment tool, and that is why we don’t either. We focus our penetration testing on looking at your network like a hacker would, seeking maximum exploitation with a surgical entry. Most networks today are “eggshell” networks, meaning that they are hard on the outside, but soft on the inside. For this reason, we focus on demonstrating the level of damage that could be done so that your staff can understand the problem, and we do this conducting a true online assessment – not by carrying around a clipboard and presenting what-if scenarios.
