CHICAGO, May 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Technology Solutions Company (TSC) (Nasdaq: TSCC), a leading consulting firm, today announced its first quarter financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2006.Revenues before reimbursements were $9.4 million for the first quarter of 2006, compared with $9.8 million for the first quarter of 2005 and $8.3 million for the fourth quarter of 2005.The net loss for the first quarter was $0.3 million or ($0.13) per share, versus a net loss of $4.2 million or ($1.79) per share in the first quarter of 2005, and a net loss of $9.5 million or ($4.04) per share in the fourth quarter of 2005. The net loss for the fourth quarter of 2005 included charges for impairment of goodwill of $7.3 million, or ($3.10) per share, and restructuring and other charges of $1.0 million, or ($0.44) per share.
