Brief History TechTools was founded in 1991 with its introduction of a cost effective Memory Emulator. Today, TechTools produces over 65 models of Memory Emulators and is a leading producer of PIC development tools. PIC tools include In-Circuit Emulators, debuggers, programmers and assemblers. Our newest product development includes PC-based Logic Analyzers with Serial Signal Analysis. TechTools ships products worldwide from Rowlett, Texas.

The main design criteria of our products is to provide you with tools that are productive and timesaving. If a problem should arise when using our products, we will be happy to provide technical assistance.

The general paradigm is to find points of interest, bring them to the center of the screen and then ZOOM. We provide several methods of finding edges and bringing them to the center of the screen so that you can zoom in and out without having to constantly scroll to 'zero-in' on the point of interest.

NOTE: You must use tables that match your version of Firmware or QuickWriter will be unable to program any devices. If ALL programming tasks in the Task Tree are blocked (indicated by a gray block with a slash), then your tables do not match your version of firmware and the correct firmware file could not be found. In this case, download the most recent firmware update which will include proper tables.

We encourage you to contact the international distributor closest to you. Your local distributor will be able to provide better before and after-the-sale support. However, we realize that not all of our distributors stock all of our products.
