Our expansion in the USA Electricity and Gas markets started in Texas in February 2002 under the name Telga Corporation, where our head office is located in Dallas. The operation is headed by Mr. Stephane Bitton as President and managed by Debbie James as Vice-President of Operations. The company has registered over 170,000 customers in Texas and aims to exceed the 200,000 mark for Residential and Commercial accounts by the end of 2008. The US division will soon be announcing its future plans in the northern states. The Canadian and European markets were operated by Telga Energy Limited and Telga Services Incorporated through their respective locally based agents. A total of over 1,100,000 residential and 100,000 commercial accounts have been registered since the marketing was launched in Canada in 1992 and Europe in 1997. Each company, in its respective market, fully works within the guidelines, rules and regulations of the government bodies such as Ofgem, Oftel (UK) and OEMA, OEB, CRTC (Canada), PUCT and ERCOT (Texas). Each company is composed of several key people, each of which has acquired extensive knowledge in all fields of the utility markets, sales and customer services. Our management team has reached 69 years of combined experience in utility deregulation, and counts among its consultants a total of 75 years achievements in North America and Europe. The UK, US and Canadian markets have been under the leadership of Mr. Stephane Bitton, B.Sc.Eng. since 1992. He is now concentrating only on our US Company since the Canadian company has become independent in November 2002 and the UK business is now only focusing on commercial accounts. All Staff, Customer service, Sales and Training background have been headed by Debbie James since 1997. She has been our Vice-President of Operations in the US since August 2002. Some if the most experienced and talented direct sales leaders have joined the team since 2000 and are responsible for all our sales, field teams and managers.
