Description
Telic Networks personnel have a history of developing innovative hardware and software solutions for difficult SIGINT and ELINT problems as well as cellular base station subsystems and network protocol analyzers. Our engineers and computer scientist have a detailed understanding of communications systems and have designed hardware and software systems spanning from the antenna or wired network interface through end user application. In addition to strong technical talent, Telic management personnel have an exemplary track record of delivering complex programs on time and within budget in both the military and commercial marketplaces. Examples of previous programs are: Radio Front Ends: Telic personnel have extensive experience developing both transmitter and receiver chains with an emphasis on small low-power designs. Specific examples include a digital predistorter for a WCDMA transmitter that employed an FPGA based architecture capable of accommodating a variety of high efficiency amplifiers. Similar technology was employed for a WiMax RF head. On the receiver side, our personnel have developed high dynamic range systems with sampling rates of up to 10 Gsps for radar processing applications and bandwidths in excess of 200 MHz for communications and SIGINT applications. Signal Processors and Demodulators: The Company’s employees have been involved with FPGA and DSP chip based signal processors for over fifteen years and have worked closely with major vendors such as Analog Devices and Xilinx to develop low power wide bandwidth architectures. Examples of specific projects are programmable direct sequence and frequency hopping despreaders, TDMA QAM demodulators, and general purpose software radios capable of processing a wide variety of modulation formats. These processors have been used in VSAT, cable modem, and point to point microwave systems as well as general purpose SIGINT collection systems. Protocol Analysis and Software Development: To complement strong hardware and signal processing expertise, Telic software personnel have develop protocol analysis systems for the DOCSIS cable modem standard and a variety of satellite TDMA and SCPC standards that provide real-time tactical network information. They also are responsible for graphical interfaces, microcontroller applications, and network interface software. Past language experience includes UNIX, JAVA, CORBA, Microsoft dot net, and C/C++.
