TCI was founded in 1984 to offer the business community the highest level of excellence in stabilizing its telephone cost. Until 1990, TCI was chiefly functioning as an independent consultant for clients who required networking and PBX equipment project expertise. During 1990 the industry was defining a wiring scheme that was independent of any one vendor, driven by a ‘new’ Ethernet that would run over telephone wire. TCI seized the opportunity to be in the forefront of this new technology and elected to concentrate its consulting on Structured Cabling Solutions. This focus has exposed our personnel to situations that required unique solutions and required constant monitoring of emerging standards. This has gained TCI a respected position in the industry. Since 1984, Telnet Consulting, Inc. has continued to service the business community on a territorial approach as a totally autonomous consulting firm.
