The Telogis GeoServices Platform is an enterprise grade application platform that provides a scalable, secure platform for enterprise and utility location-based systems. The GeoServices Platform provides a comprehensive suite of components needed for robust location-based services. OnTrack2 is built on the GeoServices Platform.GeoBase is a suite of GIS tools built for deploying location-based services. GeoBase functions high-performance mapping, reverse geo-coding, address parsing and lookup, driving directions and routing. GeoQuery is a proprietary SQL-style language that does spatial queries on GeoBase. GeoBase includes import/export tools for WKT, GML and shape files and support for multiple data sources, international mapping and non-standard addressing schemes .The underpinnings of the GeoServices platform is a cluster design built on Linux and other open-source software. Physically, the platform is built on commodity computers, allowing a low total-cost of deployment. The system supports automated resource discovery and configuration to minimze management and installation costs. The system is highly parallel, making it ideal for functions such as route planning and business analysis.
