Tender Transitions was founded in 1997, by Tom & Sheila Pettigrew. Through years of helping family, close friends and acquaintances into new life situations, they have developed knowledge and experience in working with a various seniors needs and concerns. In 1996 it became clear that there was a need for an all-inclusive relocation service in Omaha, that would help seniors making a move to new life situations. Tender Transitions is a member of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau . Midlands Business Journal wrote an article about Tender Transitions in 2003.

Each move is unique in the amount of services Tender Transitions provides. Due to the varying needs of each client, it depends of the number of hours it will take to get the job done.
