The Tennessee Valley Advertising Federation (TVAF) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting our diverse advertising community through award-winning programs and events. The 35th Annual Tennessee Valley ADDYR Awards was held March 3, 2007 at the Marriott Hotel. Over 200 attended the event, which featured Darin Windham (Windham Entertainment) as the emcee and The Matt Gibbs Trio supplying the entertainment. Each year, the event recognizes creative excellence in all forms of advertising and is open to any company or organization whether a TVAF member or not. This year a total of 35 companies entered 253 pieces. Locally, 39 Gold and 57 Silver Awards were presented this year. McWhorter Communications Inc. (The Holiday Kaleidoscope) and dkstudio (Imagery that Soars) went on to win a Silver at the District competition. This was quite an accomplishment and it is great that two companies from the TVAF club won Silvers at the next level!
