Description
The National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) offers an examination of the same name to interior designers in order to demonstrate a minimum level of skill and knowledge needed to practice interior design. The exam is composed of three sections. The first is the Interior Design Fundamentals Exam (IDFX), which consists of 100 multiple choice questions that allow individuals to display a working knowledge of building systems, construction standards, and design application. Three hours are given to complete the IDFX.
The SAT is usually given to high school juniors and seniors. It has been intimidating students for over 100 years, but it has also undergone many changes through the years. The exam is lengthy, over three hours long, and tests students on the subjects of critical reading, math, and writing. The highest score someone can get is 2400, and the lowest score is 600. Some scholarship applications require the SAT score, while others will take an ACT score instead.
The HRCI reports that this exam is specifically designed for those who are not necessarily brand new in their HR career (they suggest two to four years of professional work experience in all HR disciplines) but has not yet had increasingly complicated HR work experience. HR professionals are encouraged to become certified in order to show they are aware of the most current principles and core practices of HR management.

The PT examination consists of 250 questions and the PTA examination consists of 200 questions. All questions are in a multiple choice format. The content for the two examinations is slightly different and test takers are encouraged to visit the FSBPT website to learn about the content for their specific exam.
