Texas Cardiac Care was founded by three registered nurses in August 2000. With only a shoestring budget and no financial backer, they set up their office in one partner’s home. In October of 2000, the agency received its first license to deliver home health care services. The three of them handled every aspect of the business, from providing nursing care to billing Medicare for their services. Gradually, more employees were hired, beginning with one home health aide followed by a physical therapist, a physical therapy assistant, and then a receptionist, and in January 2001, TCC welcomed their first patient. TCC has grown very steadily and their services set them apart from the rest. They remain a small company by most standards, but that’s just fine with them. The original owners are involved in the day-to-day operations, and have surrounded themselves with trusted employees who have been carefully chosen based on merit and experience. In the last nine years, a lot has changed at Texas Cardiac Care. However, one very important value remains the same: their shared commitment to providing excellent care.
