The Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation was established in 2005 by well-known, board certified Houston plastic surgeon, Dr. Franklin Rose and silhouette artist Cindi Harwood Rose, the formerly-named Rose Ribbon Foundation continues to provide free reconstructive surgery and other services to post-cancer patients who are not able to afford health insurance. Several years ago, Cindi Rose’s sister, Holly Harwood Skolkin, was diagnosed with breast cancer and she was told she had three months to live.
