Description

The CORE Program was established in 1973 by a few volunteers from the community. The program was initially designed to provide classroom education for individuals convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs. Over the years, the program expanded to serve the growing needs of the Courts and Community of the 19th Judicial Circuit. The CORE Program now provides comprehensive services including Misdemeanor and DUI probation, substance abuse education and traffic safety education and other services related to community safety and court ordered sanctions. Our Mission Statement The Core Program's mission is to meet the growing need for prevention, education and intervention for the general public and provide alternative sentencing sanctions for the criminal justice population in the 19th Judicial Circuit. It is our mission to network with community agencies to assist with the provision of Probation Services and Intervention/Court-related services in a cooperative, cohesive system. The focus of our efforts is to reduce crime, violence and substance abuse from our community. Please visit our services page for a complete list of what we provide.
