Our client gave a ride to a young lady he knew from his neighborhood. They went to run errands, after which she alleged that he held a gun on her and forced her to give him oral sex. Then, she alleged he robbed her of a cell phone and cash. We demanded a trial on the case, and came prepared to try the case on two different occasions. Ultimately, all charges against our client were DISMISSED.

A young woman was charged with burglary and assault. She and her former friend got into an argument at her friend’s house, where our client had also been staying. When the client went outside, the friend closed the door, but our client kicked it in. Police charged burglary based on the kicked in door. We argued that it could not be a burglary since the client actually lived there as well (Burglary is the unlawful entering into the residence of ANOTHER person.) There was also no evidence that an assault took place, only an argument. All charges DISMISSED.

Our client was a professional truck driver, so traffic tickets could cause him to lose his job. On weekends, he likes to ride his motorcycle. One weekend, he was riding his motorcycle when a group of guys on motorcycles began doing “burnouts.” Our client was not even a part of this group, but he was pulled over by a policeman who insisted that not only had my client been doing the burnouts, he was also speeding and tried to run from the policeman when they attempted to pull him over. Out client was charged with Speeding, Reckless Driving, and Attempt to Eluding Police. We fought the case and all charges were DISMISSED.
