The Citizens Bank is an independent, community bank, FDIC insured and operates as a one-bank holding company, the Citizens Bancorp of Hickman, KY. The bank was chartered by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, as a state bank, on September 3, 1930. The holding company was formed March 23, 1983. Since its inception, the bank's primary mission has been to serve the banking needs of Hickman, Kentucky and Fulton County. Since the opening of our branch in Fulton, Kentucky on September 30, 2002 the bank has grown, so has its reputation for serving the needs of our community, and being a hometown bank that excels in customer service by providing up to date products and services. The bank's trade area has grown as well, reaching customers and businesses in surrounding communities in Carlisle, Graves, and Hickman counties in Kentucky and Lake, Obion, Dyer, and Weakley counties in Tennessee.
