Mention Fink (real name Fin Greenall) and you surprisingly get one of two reactions: head-scratching non-familiarity; or the impassioned response that prompts other more recognised recording artists to wax lyrical about him live on air. It is a remarkable void, but one that closes month on month, year on year, as more and more people realise just how many of Fink's songs they actually already know. Fink's music is in two words bewitching and addictive. He and his bandmates have toured the world many times over and can command audiences in their thousands back home in Europe. Fink became the first and pre-eminent singer-songwriter signed to legendary British label Ninja Tune back in '99 - after making the transition from world-class club DJ and electronic producer. 4 critically-acclaimed albums later and he's also an in-demand collaborator having written for and with the likes of John Legend, Ximena Sarinana, the late Amy Winehouse, and musical greats such as LaMont Dozier and Pino Palladino. Fink's songs have opened and closed seasons of Emmy Award winning TV shows such as CSI and House, and have appeared in numerous movies and commercials.

British Pop/Rock/R&B band Rixton made their US debut with Me And My Broken Heart EP on March 18. Following release, the music video for the title track and their first single premiered on MTV worldwide while the song has already cracked the Top 20 chart. Hailing from Manchester, UK foursome Rixton are lead singer and rhythm guitarist Jake Roche, bass/keys, backing vocalist Danny Wilkin, lead guitarist and backing vocalist, Charley Bagnall, and drummer Lewi Morgan. Jake and Danny started writing together 3 years ago in Danny's parents caravan. Two years later they were introduced to Charley through mutual friends and year later they stumbled upon Lewi in a back alley of a Manchester pub (playing pots and pans) and asked him to join the band. Drawing comparisons to Maroon 5, Rixton offer up a wealth of addictive pop/rock/R&B built on their own brand of songwriting, instrumentation and vocal harmonies. The band has been steadily gaining a large YouTube following from their reimagined covers of tracks including Taylor Swift’s “Trouble”,Rita Ora’s “How We Do (Party)”, Chris Brown's "Don't Wake Me Up" , R.
