Alon Z. Yonatan Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Alon Yonatan brings a strong background in real estate, finance and management to The Ferndale Realty Group. His background includes professional experience as an Investment Associate and Research Services Manager with Marcus & Millichap, a real estate investment brokerage company that (at the time) had more than 700 brokers in 34 markets across the United States. Mr. Yonatan's research and analysis on the multifamily investment market was recognized in both local and national publications including the Chicago Tribune, Inman Daily News Service, GlobeSt.com, the Illinois Real Estate Journal, Crain's Chicago Business, Multifamily Executive, Heartland Real Estate Business, Real Estate Chicago, Multifamily Housing News, and the Midwest Real Estate Journal. In addition to writing semi-annual market reports covering the Chicago area multifamily, office, and retail investment real estate markets, Mr. Yonatan appeared individually or as a member of a panel of speakers at The Chicago Apartment Association Trade Show & Education Forum, The Marcus & Millichap Investor Symposium, The Appraisal Institute Conditions of the Chicago Real Estate Market Seminar, and The REIA / SIOR Real Estate Summit. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Yonatan's professional experience included working as a DLSA / Underwriter for Countywide Home Loans, as a Director of Marketing for Sensorium Software, and as an investment banking analyst with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Yonatan obtained both his masters degree in Management Information Systems and his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Rivka Kompel Executive Vice President Rivka Kompel brings a diverse professional background to The Ferndale Realty Group. Prior to joining the company, her professional experience included working as an Enterprise Technology Consultant at Deloitte & Touche. In that capacity she developed internal applications to support the company in mission critical business areas, built marketing tools which led to the identification of new business prospects and increased sales activity, and devised strategic plans for migrating from legacy systems to third-party products and new development platforms. Several of the large projects she lead include the implementation of a Customer Relationship Management solution, redesign of the corporate website and content management system, and roll-out of a web-based collaborative workplace. Ms. Kompel obtained her MBA with concentrations in Finance, Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and her undergraduate degree in accounting and information systems from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In addition, Ms. Kompel received her CPA certificate in 1999. Jonathan R. Bartlett Vice President of Information Technology Jonathan Bartlett contributes his strong background in management information systems and knowledge management to The Ferndale Realty Group.
