Description

Dr. Bailey is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in working with individuals, couples and families as well as in training students working to become psychotherapists and psychologists. She has professional interests and experience in training and supervision, working with individuals around issues of identity development, specifically in the areas of sexuality and gender identity. Additional areas of clinical interest include working with trauma survivors, exploring meaning making, and the development of parenting and creation of family within queer relationships. Melisa has worked in college counseling, community mental health, residential treatment and has experience working with people throughout their lifespan.

The Center's founder and Director, Dr. Margo Jacquot, is a licensed clinical psychologist, certified addictions counselor and board certified expert in traumatic stress, with over 25 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups. She is also a local and national lecturer on trauma, substance abuse, LGBT issues, and working with couples. Margo has worked with adolescents throughout her career and dedicates a portion of her practice specifically to adolescents and their families.

Carol is a licensed clinical social worker with over 40 years experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Her professional experience includes helping persons with issues of anxiety, depression, unresolved grief, as well as marital issues, blended families, and counseling and consultation around issues of aging with individuals and families. She also leads workshops on family therapy, LGBT issues, aging, loss, ethics, cultural sensitivity and various forms of abuse. She has two adult children and is active in professional and community organizations. Carol's approach to counseling is interactive with a focus on identifying strengths, as well as issues of concern. Her clinical philosophy and methods include both psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies, with an awareness of the role addictions often play in a client's life. Carol also has particular experience in the interplay between physical and emotional health, whether chronic or acute illness or special issues of aging and the changes in personal and family dynamics these create.

Kristy is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist (BC-DMT). Working with adolescents, families, and adults for over 8 years, Kristy believes that therapy is a place to explore, express, exchange, and exhale. Kristy specializes in assisting you as you explore life’s obstacles while highlighting and enhancing your strengths. As a relational therapist, Kristy understands that all humans are relational beings and often our greatest pains and our greatest joys are borne of these relationships. Over every developmental stage, there are significant relational experiences that we all traverse. The therapeutic relationship is the exchange that can act as the vehicle from which change can occur while utilizing an individual’s personal relationship experiences as the roadmap. Kristy can help navigate the complexities and nuances of your life while helping you discover ways to live your best life.

Tavia has been working with individuals, couples and families for over 15 years. Using a collaborative, compassionate approach, Tavia is particularly skilled in helping people work through transitions in their lives. Tavia understands the complexities of getting life to "work" and she helps her clients find practical, smart ways to address what needs to change. Tavia enjoys helping people work through relational stuck points, finding more compassion for themselves, reducing a shame based life and developing effective skills at the toughest job we EVER do, parenting. Tavia utilizes EMDR as is helpful. people experience She is down to earth and accessible.
