Since we are a Christ-centered childcare facility, we have added another element to our curriculum. This program is called Lil'K . It takes children on a journey of discovery as they explore the Biblical lesson objective for the day. Lil'K was created using the same idea as the children's show Blue's Clues. This program helps assist children in constructing a Biblical worldview. We are currently using a curriculum called Mother Goose Time . It uses activities throughout the lesson plan to embrace the unique learning style and skill level of each child. We believe it is extremely important to provide information and resources that support family involvement in their child's learning experience. Every month, we provide a collection of tools that guide parents in taking an active role in their child's education and development. This creates a link from classroom to home learning. Because children come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives to the learning cente, we intentionally design activities that also invite children to bring their experiences from home to the classroom. Mother Goose Time is a professionally developed preschool curriculum that nurtures the whole child and supports the child's social, emothional, and intellectual growth. Mother Goose Time offers monthly curriculum kits of theme-based, hands-on activities, art projects, and early literacy games.
